Now that NEM 3.0 has reduced the value of power sell-backs for new solar installations in California, federal and state incentives are even more of a selling point for homeowners. 

In addition to California’s Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP), which provides qualified homeowners with a $1,500 rebate, new solar buyers in the Golden State can also benefit from a federal 30% tax credit for solar equipment, labor, and battery storage.
